Scripture: “The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord...” Isaiah 40:3
What is "Advent"?
Advent is the four-week season before Christmas, a time of holy waiting where we prepare our hearts to celebrate Christ’s birth and look forward to His return. The word Advent comes from the Latin adventus, meaning “coming” or “arrival.” It reminds us that God came near once in Jesus — and will come again.
Reflection: How can I make room for Christ amid the busyness of the holiday season?
Prayer: Lord, help me quiet my heart and prepare room for You. Amen.
Today's Challenge: Take 2 minutes today to sit in silence, breathe, and invite God into the season.
