Located in beautiful, downtown Sandy Hook, we are a vibrant, active community of faith, gathering at 9:30am on Sunday mornings.
We offer a hybrid service that includes both in person worship as well as online options for streaming. Our online presence has been (and continues to be) a tremendous asset to our congregation, but we feel nothing compares to in person fellowship.

NUMC seeks to follow Jesus’ teaching locally and around the globe, believing everyone is our neighbor; those we know as well as those we don’t… and all are deserving of our care.
WHAT WE DO
With a strong foundation in service, NUMC remains an active congregation offering:
Small Group Studies, a Daytime Discipleship Group, a Sunday morning Children’s Ministry Program, a community preschool and mission opportunities both locally and abroad.
We are a responsive congregation and are constantly evolving to better meet the needs of our community.

A close-knit congregation offering a variety of faith-inspired programming and support that connects us, inviting all who are interested to experience the happiness God’s love can bring to their lives.
NUMC is an active community and hosts a variety of programming, not only for our church family but for the surrounding community as well.
Our facilities serve as a hub for both large and small group gatherings with something happening nearly every night of the week. Our resources are a great asset to the town and can be reserved by contacting the church office.
