We're so glad you're thinking about a visit!

WHAT TO EXPECT
When are your services?
Worship is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30am, followed by a time of fellowship in Rauner Hall. It is a hybrid experience composed of both in person and online worshipers.
How can I follow along with your online service?
Our online options include a dial in number for listening only, a zoom option to join along with other online guests and a Facebook streaming option. The weekly bulletin and instructions for accessing our worship service can be found by clicking here.
What type of educational programs do you offer?
NUMC offers a variety of spiritual and educational opportunities: Monday morning Prayer Group, Small Group Studies (short-term programs ranging from 6 to 8 weeks) generally meeting on Tuesday evenings, a Daytime Discipleship Group which meets on Wednesdays morning.
What about my children?
Children are a vital part of our ministry and all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. For ages 3 and up, we offer a Sunday morning Church School program that meets weekly throughout the school year. Children begin in the sanctuary and move to a classroom setting following the Children’s Ministry Moment. Additionally, we offer a variety of ways for kids to be involved and to grow their faith: Baptism, Acolytes, Confirmation Class, and special event programming are all a part of our community. If you have an infant and/or toddler and are concerned about noise, don’t be! We love having God’s children in our midst. For parents who still desire nursery care, please let us know and arrangements can be made. NUMC has an onsite nursery located in the Wesley Learning Center portion of our church.
We are a responsive congregation and strive to constantly evolve, better meeting the needs of our community,
What can I expect on my first visit?
At NUMC you can expect to find a warm and welcoming experience from the moment you enter our doors. People dress informally and children are welcome throughout the service. We offer a traditional style of worship which incorporates scripture, prayer, a sermon and music, drawing on both old hymns and newer songs. Preaching is thematic and follows the lectionary. Don’t be surprised if we introduce ourselves during the “Passing of the Peace” and we hope you join us for coffee and conversation immediately following worship.
How should I dress?
Our style can be considered informal traditional. People dress casually in what can be considered a modern take on the traditional “Sunday best.” Our main desire is that you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit.
What type of church are you?
We are a United Methodist Church and part of the NY Annual Conference and Western Frontier Parish.
